“ Food is always on point! My go to is the carne asada super burrito and I am never disappointed! ”
“ Best street tacos in Fairfield. Their simple carne asada tacos eaten as served are amazing and have no rival in the area. ”
“ What i ordered: Carne asada super burrito Carne asada, Lengua, and al pastor taco. Overall the place is nice and well kept. Food came out quick no more than 15 min when i ordered in person. Food is good but nothing too amazing. The lengua was the best of the three and the carne asada is last. The hottest sauce they offered isn't spicy at all and taste like salsa for the chips they give. No jalapeños or onions was given but i forgot to ask so i do not know if they offered it. Price is decent but i will continue on my search to the best mexican food in Fairfield still. ”
“ A great taqueria with good food always I could never get enough of steak fries so it's a definite share or all to myself meal Portion for the price is reasonable Location is in a busy area ”
“ Came in for our Mexican food craving. We were definitely impressed with the service and the array of dishes they had. I played it safe by getting the super burrito and I was definitely satisfied. It was delicious and had everything a super burrito should have. The only sad part is they only had like 4 options of protein. I wish they had more as a taqueria. Overall, the place was good. I'd definitely come back to try more. ”
“ Oh my gosh! Things have really changed when you walk in to Alejandro's.... For decades I frequented this taqueria, their food was always delicious! (It still is!) but, boy did they take COVID seriously! The self-serve soda machine is gone! The chip/salsa station is gone! You can no longer be seated and receive menus and order at the table! Now, like many other taquerias, you order at a window, then sit down and wait for your food. They do give you some chips with small cups of salsa and pico. If you want more, it'll cost you 40 cents for each little cup. They also charge for the little to go bags if you order food to go. I had a carnitas burrito mojado with hot salsa instead of pico and salsa diabla instead of enchilada sauce. It was awesome! Just like I remembered... The pictures on the wall and the posted menu on one of the walls are still the same. It's just not as inviting and comfortable as it used to be. But, I'll definitely return when I'm in the area... ”
“ This place is great! It's very spacious inside and has a lot of seating. There is a digital menu on the left side of the restaurant which is also where you will be ordering from. The service was quick and they deliver your food to your table. As for the food, I was able to try a lunch plate on the weekend which was $8.99. What a steal! I had a choice of enchilada, taco, tostada or chile relleno. The lunch plates come with refried beans, rice and lettuce and a tomato. I ordered a chicken enchilada and it was so cheesy! A great portion for myself and it was delicious. Every order does come with chips and salsa. I recommend the verde and medium salsa! It was so good. For the kids, there are some tattoo and toy dispensers at the entrance ranging from 50 cents to $1. It brought back so many memories and my nephew loved it! I would definitely come back again if I find myself in downtown Fairfield! ”
